Fished a venue last week for 3 days, the weed made this lake look weed free. It was horrendous, it was like cabbages all through the lake. Huge leaves were visible all under the surface. If you managed to find a clear spot (fortunate is the right word) then you got caught up in the massively thick stems and parasol sized leaves on the retrieve. Which reminds me, I need to order some new leads to replace the ones i lost. Cracking vid though Rob. N1

Im starting to think my hair rig isnt that good...

I have the milky toffee pop up used it last night on a size 6 fox chod short in 20ft of water put it out about 8 last night brand in at 7 and the hook is touching the deck and not popping up like it should will these be any better to stay up longer 😊

Everyone was using it on a lake in France in May, it attracted the cats so I fished a pop up over maize for the week. Caught joint top amount of fish, the other angler counted his cats mine were just carp. Before the triggered community reply, I'm not saying it's a crap bait but it brings in cats so if you don't like cats.......

How long do they last underwater? Do they melt fast?

Any good new bait from mainline is 100% worth a punt they ain’t exactly newbies!! If you can afford it get on it if not use some tigers!!!

Good angling. Unfortunately most people can’t afford to pay £50 plus on bait for each session. No doubt the pellets, liquids and different size boilers work very well but it’s a lot of money for most carp anglers. Surely these bait companies can reduce their prices???

I'm sure the 'Pro' stands for 'Professor'. Maybe lol good angling.

So far this year, I’m having a very difficult time catching carp (I’m using primarily Mainline boilies (Cell, Essential Cell, Impact, etc…). Do you think it might be that the vast majority of carp in the US have never seen a boilie? I’m trying not to be limited to “sweet corn”🙄 Thanks - Joe
